This Order allows for members of the disciplined forces to exercise their right to vote at the Local Government Elections 2023 without affecting the performance by them of their duties on election day, by allowing for the application of the part of the Local Authorities (Elections) Act that permits them to vote on a day prior to the day appointed by the Minister for Local Government Elections.
