On the directions of the Elections Commission, and in accordance with the provisions of Section 6 of the National Registration Act, Chapter 19:08, the Commissioner of Registration specifies the following: 1. The conduct of continuous registration shall resume on July 4, 2023, for (a) all persons who are qualified to be electors and, (b) all other persons in Guyana who will be 14 years old and over by December 31, 2023, providing that such persons are citizens of Guyana, or are Commonwealth citizens who are not citizens of Guyana but who are domiciled and resident in Guyana for a period of one year immediately preceding the qualifying date (December 31, 2023).
